The first part of Lessons in Chemistry’s first season is already over. “CH3COOH,” the fifth episode of the Apple TV+ original series, is all about Elizabeth’s rise from chemist to TV star. Elizabeth finally decides to take Walter’s job offer, and she becomes a TV star right away, giving women all over the country ideas. What we think will happen in Lessons in Chemistry Season 1 Episode 6
She is going to ask to spend more time with her daughter. Will they start to record the show ahead of time or move the time it airs? To be honest, I don’t think either choice will make Phil very happy.
Madeline will keep looking into where her dad went to school and his past. Reverend Wakely will be asked to help her.
Elizabeth’s show will keep getting more and more popular, which will make her famous. Elizabeth will have a hard time getting used to her new life. Even though they will have a lot of money, Elizabeth will still want her study to be successful. She won’t be able to fit all of her projects and hobbies into her schedule.
What happened in the last episode?
- A lot of feel-good moments and some subtle comedy gold made the show fun to watch. Also, it’s great to see Kevin Sussman (The Big Bang Theory) in a bigger comedy part. He does great work with Brie Larson, who is mesmerizing. In Lessons in Chemistry Season 1 Episode 5, the following things took place:
- Elizabeth has a hard time keeping her money in order. She gets paid to sell Tupperware and applies for a job as a chemist. Liz needs a letter of recommendation from Hastings to get the new job, though.
- When she gets to Hastings, she finds that Boryweitz has taken over for Donatti. Boryweitz won’t suggest her, but he will hire her as a junior chemist instead. Elizabeth turns down the offer.
- Madeline is having a hard time in school because the work isn’t difficult enough. A private school is suggested by her teacher. Elizabeth wants to take the TV job because it will help her pay her bills.
- He shows her around the studio while they get ready for the TV show. Elizabeth’s first dress practice doesn’t go well, though. Walter and Elizabeth talk about making changes.
- Phil, the owner of the station, wants the show to be sexy, which makes Elizabeth mad right away. That being said, Elizabeth doesn’t back down. The first live recording goes really well. Women who see Elizabeth’s work are moved by it and call to ask for more information.
- Afternoons are spent at Reverend Wakely’s church, where Madeline starts her new school year. In order to learn more about her father, she looks into her family tree.
- Elizabeth’s show is a big hit right away. People have even seen her in public. In honor of the event, Elizabeth takes Madeline to a diner. A fan comes up to her and asks for her autograph. Madeline doesn’t like how her mother doesn’t pay attention to her. Elizabeth knows that she is making people hurt.
