There’s nothing quite like a mid-summer horror movie to set the stage for spooky season, and Cobweb is the perfect film to get you in the mood. If you’re wondering where and when you can watch this new flick, we’ve got you covered!

Cobweb follows the story of Peter, an eight-year-old boy who constantly hears mysterious tapping sounds from inside his bedroom wall. Despite his fears, his parents, portrayed by Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr, dismiss it as his imagination. However, Peter becomes concerned that they might be concealing a dangerous secret.

As of now, the only way to watch Cobweb is by heading to a movie theater, as it was released on Friday, July 21. You can easily find local showings on Fandango. If you can’t make it to the theater, don’t worry, as you’ll have the option to rent or purchase it on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube, and Amazon in the future.

Although an exact digital release date for Cobweb has not been announced, we can make an educated guess based on a previously released Lionsgate movie. The Blackening premiered on June 16 and is set to be available on digital platforms on August 15, approximately two months after its theatrical release. Following a similar trajectory, we can expect Cobweb to potentially be available for streaming on platforms like Prime Video by late August 2023.

As for Netflix, unfortunately, Cobweb will not be available on the platform anytime soon. While it’s possible that it may come to Netflix in the future, for now, your options are to catch it in a movie theater or wait for its release on digital platforms.
