Indeed, The Color Purple will be joining Max as Warner Bros. Pictures is distributing it. There will be a 45-day wait before we can watch in the comfort of our own homes because the firm no longer releases its movies on the streaming platform the same day they are shown in theaters.
The official streaming release date has not been announced as yet, but another Warner Bros. film, Blue Beetle, was released in theaters on August 18 but wasn’t available on Max until November 17, nearly three months after its launch.
