We bring you the list of new content coming to Paramount Plus in July 2023, featuring both fresh and library TV series and films.
SEASON 2 OF MIKE JUDGE’S BEAVIS & BUTT-HEAD
Coming to Paramount Plus from July 13th –
The animated teenage icons of the 90s, Beavis & Butt-Head, make a victorious comeback in their second season. Italian rapper, songwriter, and record producer J-Ax, aka Alessandro Aleotti, and singer/rapper Shade provide the voices for Beavis & Butt-Head. To wrap things up, singer Federica Carta voices the iconic character Daria, returning specially for this occasion.
Originally brought to life by the multi-talented Mike Judge, Beavis and Butt-Head first appeared in his 1992 short film “Frog Baseball” on MTV’s “Liquid Television.” The series has enjoyed popularity over the years, with multiple voice actors in Italy, including Francesco Mandelli, Fabrizio Biggio, and others. Paramount+ library also features films from the series dubbed in Italian.
BABYLON
Coming to Paramount Plus on July 21 – A comedy film with a touch of whimsy, BABYLON boasts a star-studded cast, including Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, Jean Smart, Jovan Adepo, and Li Jun Li.
BABYLON tells the story of an ambitious group of characters navigating the evolving film industry in the 1920s, from silent to sound. The film is a production of Marc Platt/Wild Chickens/Organism Pictures, under the direction of Damien Chazelle.
SPECIAL OPERATION: LIONESS
Arriving on Paramount Plus from July 23rd – The thrilling spy series, from Academy Award® nominee Taylor Sheridan, features a cast including Zoe Saldaña, Laysla De Oliveira, Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman, and Nicole Kidman.
Inspired by a real US military program, SPECIAL OPERATION: LIONESS follows Joe (Saldaña) as he tries to maintain his role in the CIA’s war on terrorism while balancing his personal life.
GHOSTS OF BEIRUT
Coming to Paramount Plus from July 27th – This 4-episode series narrates the backstory of a fictional Lebanese terrorist, Imad, who eludes the CIA and Mossad for two decades.
A THIN LINE
Available from July 6th on Paramount Plus – This series focuses on hacktivist twin sisters Anna (Saskia Rosendahl) and Benni (Hanna Hilsdorf) as they expose environmental wrongdoings. The sisters find themselves at odds when Benni joins a radical terrorist group.
JOE PICKETT S1
Available from July 16th on Paramount Plus – This Neo-Western series in ten episodes follows a gamekeeper and his family as they navigate political and socio-economic shifts in a small rural town.
THE CHALLENGE: WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Available from July 5th on Paramount Plus– In this new exclusive series, 22 iconic All Stars from THE CHALLENGE return for another shot at the ultimate race and a $500,000 grand prize.
SPOTLIGHT S6
Available from July 14th on Paramount Plus – This series follows a group of teenagers with a shared dream of making it big in the world of music and dance. It adds to the Young Adult content on Paramount+.
TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK
Available July 29 on Paramount Plus- This brand-new animated series introduces a new generation of Transformers robots, born on Earth. The series redefines the concept of family as it explores the relationship between the human family that adopts them and the new Terran Transformers.
